What did a postcard envelope look like? During the early "Golden Age" of postcards, they often came in sets of six, a remnant perhaps of lithographic printing presses where 4 sets of 6 images fit well into the bow that was used to imprint the paper. Tuck's and others sold their postcards in series that targeted collectors and let them buy all at once in a nice marketing envelope. Few of these have survived.
Postcards in the envelope from this first Lahore Series included Delhi Gate, Golden Mosque, Royal Mosque (Inner Part), Shalimar Garden and Wazir Khan's Mosque (Inner Part) and Wazir Khan's Mosque (Outer Part).
