An educational institution in the heart of Lahore. Originally founded as a middle school in 1883 it was upgraded to a high school in 1891. Tthe school spreads over an area of 23,155 sq. meters, with 96 rooms, 2 halls, 1 library and 7 laboratories and workshops. It gained autonomous status in 1990, with many of Pakistan's leading government and business officials, especially those in Punjab, having studied here. Alumni are known as Old Modelians.
