An early view of Bombay by one of its preeminent early postcard publishers. It shows the Rajabai Tower, completed in 1878 on the grounds of the University of Mumbai. Paid for by the Jain "Cotton King" and philanthropist Premchand Roychand, it was for a while the tallest structure in the city.

Postmarked Aden [Yemen] 7 May 1905 and addressed to Madame Wacquex [sp?], c/o Mrs. Chapman, 3 Don Cottages, Maison Dieu Place, Dover, England. "Perim [near Aden] 6.5.1905. Dear L. The children were so pleased with the books ou sent them & send lots of love & thanks to you & Jack. Will write a long letter next week. I hope all will soon get settled, my love to you all & from G. Lovingly yours, A.B."
