Nicknamed the "Eton of the East," renowned for its Indo-Saracenic architecture, blending Mughal, Rajputana, and Gothic styles, it was founded in 1875 to provide modern education to Indian aristocracy, particularly princes and nobles of Rajputana. Since the 1950s, it has followed an egalitarian philosophy, accepting students from all communities and regions in its sprawling 350-acre campus in Ajmer.
Houses over 800 boys from Class IV to XII in 12 boarding houses. its coat of arms designed by Mr. Lockwood Kipling, father of Rudyard Kipling. Notable alumni include diplomats, politicians, actors, and business leaders.The Main Building is particularly notable for its intricate design and grandeur.
