Dal Lake in Srinagar in an artist painted postcard. Dal Lake is connected to a number of other lakes in Kashmir Valley and is well known for its shikaras or house boats. This is one of a series of 6 postcards by the unknown, likely amateur artist E.E., in an unusual size, 6 by 3 inches, with a divided back. They came in s special envelope entitled Series No. 1 Six Artistic View of Kashmir.
