Street Scene Udaipur

A less common, fairly casual, finely hand-tinted street scene in a then smaller city. Note the progression of house styles from mud-baked through stone with finely wrought balconies, and the clock-tower in Rajasthani-style atop a collection of shops down the street. The streetlights on the left would probably have been fairly new. The boy and main next to him seem momentarily arrested by the photographer, but otherwise life goes on outside a frozen frame.
