Prisoners, many of whom would have been from India, lining up at the German prisoner of war camp in Munster. Note that the postcard title is actually in French (L'Appel or Roll Call). This was because one of the purposes of these postcards, besides trophies of victory for the German people, was also to show troops fighting them that they would be well-treated if captured or if they defected.
