The Peshawar firm of P.D. Kapur & Sons was a prolific publisher of these postcards, showing so-called "raiders" shot dead, usually in cantonment areas like Rawalpindi and Peshawar. No other area of the Raj seems to have had such a consistent tradition of publishing postcards of people killed; note a second body in the background.
