A rather unusual postcard, apparently made by a Christian missionary organization, possibly to showcase their support for patients and raise funds for their work. Missionary initiatives used postcards from the earliest days to broadcast news about their activities in India to Europe and America; many of the institutions like hospitals and educational institutions that were started by them still exist today in the subcontinent.
