Nagarkhana Gate, Fort, Belgaum
Construction of Belgaum Fort, now known as Belagavi Fort in Karnataka state was begun in the 13th century. It has seven major gates, the main one dating to the 17th century.

Parade Road, Belgaum
A very nicely coloured card, using side profiles of people, a commonly trope in albumen photography, to mark the scale of a scene. An open road extends across the whole foreground. The shadows fall softly on the right.

An unusual card which shows a woman, presumably a dancer, looking at the the photograph of a man, a self-reflexive trope that may or may not be recognized by us, who hold the postcard in our hands.
Expecting
A rare image of a pregnant woman (or is she just waiting?), posing in a studio, with an abundance of real vegetation surrounding her.
