Gandhi Garden Karachi
A beautiful real photo postcard given the dark curtain between the trees. After 1947 it was renamed Karachi Zoological and Botanical Gardens; it had been called Gandhi Gardens in honor of a visit by Mahatma Gandhi in 1934.

Lucknow was the capital of the Kingdom of Awadh until 1858. Wajid Ali Shah, the king of Awadh, constructed the Kaiser Bagh Palaces of Lucknow in the 1840s and 1850s. Some 8 million rupees were spent on their construction.
