An exceptionally rare postcard that makes one wonder how large a market there would have been for these well-fed gentlemen, and whether they were all really bishops – though this seems likely as there are currently 13 bishops in Myanmar.

An Eid Mubarak card from Lahore in the 1930s.
A beautiful embossed and hand-tinted card showing the entrance to Harminder Sahib, the holiest of Sikh sites in Amritsar. All the subdued colors on the entrance way were added by hand through stencils, individually on each postcard.
Another Dhurandhar postcard masterpiece, with the pale green background and statue of Lord Mahavir, the last Tirthankara of the Jain religion setting off the living priest in the foreground.
[Original caption] Catholic Cathedral, Lahore. Among the many fine buildings in modern Lahore the noble church in the picture is well worthy of notice. The many trees in the vicinity give quite an English appearance.
