One of the more beautiful hand-tinted real photographic postcards. Identified only as a South Indian woman, it seems to have been printed in a French colony (Vietnam?) by a Chinese photographer. Note the exceptional gold of the sari, the blue blouse, the pink, the green curtain, the diffuse and subtle use of colour throughout that makes the whole seem like a painting.
