Postmarked in Bombay Nov. 19, 1910 and addressed to Miss Louella Shoemaker, Freeport, Illinois, USA: "Bombay, India 11/18-1910. Dear Daughter: Greeting. I thought you would like to see how little girls play 'hide and seek' in India. Don't the girls look cute?
"We arrived at Bombay this morning, and met Bro & Sister & ch [child] this P.M. They landed at Bombay yesterday. They came in one day ahead on time. We expect to visit the Drukard Anissimo [sp?] next week. I am well. May you all keep well and of good cheer. Affectionately, Papa"
