Nusserwanjee & Co. was a prominent business enterprise in Karachi during the British colonial period, owned by the Parsi Nusserwanjee family. On the right of this postcard is their head office and retail store on the city's main business thoroughfare (now Zaibunnisa Street). The company's operations were deeply intertwined with the growth of early Karachi and played a significant role in the city's commercial development during the colonial period, and their nationalist anti-colonial stands apparently cost them contracts even as they helped establish indigenous tile production in India and became partners with Bharat Flooring Tiles Co. in 1922.
